Welcome to the setup guide.
To get this plugin setup will only take around 20 mins, this guide will be broken down into steps. You must first do a test transaction using the test Lloyds account. It is important that you have a Lloyds Cardnet account, the Lloyds team will send you two emails when you sign up, one with the Store ID and another with a Shared Secret for connect. Once you have done a number of test orders you can apply for the live Lloyds account and set this up. It is always best practice when setting up a payment gateway to do this in test mode first and run a number of orders before switching to live mode.
Step 1 - Plugin settings.
Install the plugin & activate the licence key, once this is done you want to navigate to the plugin settings page, this can be found in the WooCommerce settings:
WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > AG Lloyds Cardnet Checkout Settings
The key items here for the setup are Store ID & Shared Secret.
Both these details are supplied by the Lloyds Cardnet team when you sign up for an account.
Step 2 - Login to the Lloyds Cardnet back office.
The next set of items are done in the Lloyds Cardnet back office, you can log in to the test account here.

Once logged in you need to navigate to the Customisation area.
From here you want to edit Define the URLs for the integration with your online store
or the Confirmation Page("Thank You") and Transaction Notification (URL to receive a notification when a transaction is complete) fields,
you need to enter your website domain followed by /checkout/order-pay/
Note: Transaction Notification needs to be the same as Failure Page.
For the Failure Page ("Sorry") field, you will need to enter your website domain followed by /wc-api/ag_cardnet_checkout
Note: The URL for the Failure Page is used as a fallback.
Once this is done you must wait for around 30 minutes for this to take place.
Step 3 - Test, Test & test.
Well done, you have now finished the setup of the plugin! Now the important thing to do is test the payment gateway a few times before going live. If you have any errors/issues you first want to check the error log.
